★★★★★ 25th Wedding Anniversary Celebration with Harley-Davidson 1200 Sportster Motorcycle Rentals
For our 25th Anniversary my wife and I planned a trip to Hawaii and took the 7-day Norwegian inter-island cruise. We had two days on Maui where I had the idea to rent a bike for one of them (my 53rd birthday specifically) to experience the island the best way possible, on two wheels.
I'm more of a sport bike rider but the plan was for the two of us to go double so I thought we should have more of a cruiser. I reached out to Maui Moto about a month before our trip and took care of reserving everything through text/emails (very easy).
With the priority being passenger comfort, Errol recommended his Harley 1200 Sportster with a good backrest and custom seat. Our first day on the island, the day before our ride, we walked to the shop from the pier unannounced and met Errol and Yulia for the first time in person.
They were great people and we talked like we had known each other a long time. Errol is clearly a rider first and foremost and gave me route suggestions to maximize our experience and minimize our traffic.
His recommendations on gear, dressing for temperature changes, and the best curves/pavement conditions were spot on. Yulia took extra time with my wife to make sure the gear fit "just right". The day of the ride went off without a hitch.
They had a guided ride they were doing the same morning but made sure we had everything we needed and sent us off before they left. The bike was in great shape and the roads on Maui are amazing.
The ride to Haleakala Crater should be on "bucket list" of any rider. Not sure when we will get back to Maui but, if we do, I will plan another ride, this time I'd like to ride with Errol to try out the dual sport riding. It was one of those trips of a lifetime. If you are even considering, just do it!!
