My husband and I spent one day with Errol and his wife and rented one of his bikes on our own for one day.
The guided tour was like taking a ride through a new countryside with an old friend. From his shop, we rode up the twisties to Haleakala crater. We stopped at a fruit stand for a break and were treated to local perspectives along the way. On the way down from 10,000+ ft, we stopped at a food truck park and Errol made recommendations for other places to visit while in Maui.
On day two, we wanted to explore the road to Hana counterclockwise, so following Errol's recommendation we took his KLR650. It was a perfect match to the terrain which included narrow and unpaved roads.
He has wide variety of make and model options that all seem to be well-maintained. It was well worth it to do the guided tour with Errol - it laid the foundation for a great day on our own. Many thanks to Errol and his wife for a highpoint of our trip!
