Hands down the best motorcycle rental I've done

I called Mike before business hours and left a message inquiring about a rental. Mike promptly returned my phone call and got me all set up. I did a 24-hour rental of their 2013 Suzuki DR650. Clean bike and setup with bark busters and a skid plate.

I also opted for the boots, over pants and gloves, which I would recommend. Mike is very courteous and professional, and had me on the road within a few minutes after arriving at the shop.

I feel renting a dual sport bike is the best way to see the parts of Maui that most tourists never see. I would recommend a trip up to Polipoli Springs State Recreation Area, but be cautious if it is raining or has rained recently.

Another great thing about renting a dual sport is that all the locals think you are one of them. Every time I stopped, a local would come up to me and compliment the bike. They couldn't believe it was a rental because they're used to seeing Harley rentals only.

My only minor complaint about this particular DR650 is that it was set up with street-biased tires. Not a big deal, and I'm sure it is that way so some inexperienced renter doesn't go down on wet pavement.

Overall, a great experience that will not soon be forgotten. I will rent from Maui Moto Adventures again if I ever make it back to Maui!

4 Day Maui KLR Tour!

Absolute best way to explore Maui! KLR650s were the perfect bikes for Maui's narrow, windy, sometimes rough roads. This was the only place we found to rent dual sports on Maui. Mike was super easy to deal with, good communication, follow through, no hassles. Even dropped them off and picked them up.

Highly recommend at least renting two days and riding the complete Hana Hwy loop and west island loop! Will definitely do it again on our next visit!

Great Day

A friend, my husband and I booked a dirtbike tour and were not disappointed. We arrived on time and were met by our guide Mike. He was very professional and knowledgeable about our tour. He told us upfront that the trip was beautiful and challenging and it proved to be both.

We have limited experience offroad but were able to make the best of it. At the end of the trip we were muddy and tired with a smile on our faces. This trip is truly what you make of it. Our lack of physical fitness and offroad experience made a unique trip. Yours will differ but don't miss out on a truly beautiful experience.

Wow is all I can say. Jeff and Daas provided an awesome "moto ride" experience. They set me up on a KLX 140 which was perfect for the trail conditions for my height disadvantage. There were 2 other riders with Jeff leading and Daas riding last making sure I didn't get lost.

Daas had to pick up my bike 4-5 times when the ruts took me out. He was so kind and helpful when I needed help. He also took great pics of me with my phone throughout the whole ride. Jeff always made sure I was ok with trying any difficult obstacle we came across on the trails.

We rode up 3 mountain ridges, thru tight single track, crazy ruts, sugar cane so thick you couldn't see in front of you and big trees roots. This was the best experience of my trip with lasting epic memories.

Awesome day in the mud

Jeff and Daz were great guides. We did the moto x adventure. We're avid street bike riders, and this moto x was above our skill level, but we managed to hang. We had a great day riding through the hills above Lahaina.

It had been pretty rainy on Maui the day of our trip and the week (s) before, so we got first hand experience of "Maui Ice" super slick red Hawaiian mud. We rode through some ruts I thought impassable. By the time we reached the top of the ridge we were exhausted. (And we still had to rid back down.)

Maui Moto, set us up with all the gear we needed, down to our socks. The bikes were great (except for the Honda 4 stroke, it had a weak battery, and with the amount of times I stalled, I needed a strong battery.) If you have moto x experience you'll love this trip.
